Can I use a GoPro to Film a Tennis Match?
Short answer – yes, they are fine. The answer is a definite “yes”. This was shot with Silver Hero 3, a 120 degree FOV, at 720p and 30 fps. To really appreciate the great picture, click here to see some actual video and make sure to view it at full screen.
[Update July 2016: Cameras have evolved over the last three years and we now heartily recommend and carry the Muvi K-2 by Veho. Half the price, easier to use and equal in quality. GoPro is still a great camera though]

The newer models of both the Muvi’s and theGoPros have WiFi which allow you to control and see on your smartphone or iPad what the camera sees. At a 120 degree FOV (as shown above), you don’t have to worry too much about setting up the camera. Another idiosyncrasy of the GoPro is that you have to buy a tripod adapter separately – another $6.00 to $9.00 more or less.
