NMSTA Senior Cat III Tournament Results and Example of Muvi KX-1 Tennis Camera

Played my first tournament in a while and filmed it with the new Veho Muvi KX-1.  Very impressed with the picture at 1440p. Used a medium field of view which was narrower than I expected but the clarity was superb.  And since it was doubles, the narrower field of view was acceptable – most of the action taking place in the middle of the court.  I mean, if you are playing doubles and the action is taking place in the corners……well, that’s pretty strange.  Hopefully only your opponents are in the corners, not you.  Won our first match 6-2. 6-2 but fell to the No. 2 seeds in the 2nd round of the round robin. One more match tomorrow, and the “lucky loser” will move on.  Don’t think it will be us, but we can always hope.  Will study that video to see what my new partner and I can do better next time.  Note:  The clip below was filmed at a medium field of view.  I’ll change that to a wide field of view and see what that looks like.

Here’s the same KX-1 camera set at a wide view:

Did I say I love the clay?  So easy on the body it’s unbelievable.  And the warm weather is a nice change from Denver!  All in all, a very good day!
