You have to ask yourself, can you use the QM-1 to review line calls? I say that you definitely, maybe can. I don’t think people will want to stop and do instant review (although you could), but after the match is said and done, it can be interesting to look at some questionable calls, like this one at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=no6z9l_sVtk.
Other calls aren’t quite so easy to see. For instance, at the Denver City Open this week, I made a call on the far baseline of out. By two or three inches I thought. My opponent was pretty convinced the ball was way in, that I had really blown the call. After reviewing the call at home, it can definitely be said the ball didn’t hit square on the line. Could it have touched the back part of the line? Possible. But looking at the far baseline, from that angle on a clay court with dirty lines and sun and shadows, you can’t say. But it’s fun to try!
Review each shot and make the right calls. Use the QM-1 together with your iphone, smartphone or camcorder and get started today!
